Immaculate lodge with top-quality appliances and utensils. Helpful owners providing local information. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Quiet location away from busy areas but easily accessible by car. Spotlessly clean even in dog-friendly accommodation. Useful welcome food pack, especially for those with limited space in the car.
Missing a bedside table and wall mirror in the second bedroom. Washing machine only for industrial use.

We didn't want to say goodbye, would recomand. We loved every moment of the stay, such wonderful experience. There was wheelchair accessible policy, which was important. It was located in a lovely area right by the river, Hurstpierpoint and the South Downs,.

Our stay at The Old Flower Field was absolutely delightful. We were immediately impressed by the attention to detail in the architectural design, creating a relaxing and easy style of living. The location was perfect for us, tucked away in a quiet area but still easily accessible to nearby towns and villages like Hurstpierpoint, Saltdean, and Seaford. We especially enjoyed the easy 15-minute walk to Hurstpierpoint village. The lodge itself was spotless and beautifully fitted out to a high standard. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming, even providing a thoughtful arrival package with essentials like bread, milk, and jam. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Despite heavy rainfall during our stay, the owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing bottled water when the mains supply was cut off. The concern and support they showed were truly remarkable. While the lack of a dishwasher and the limited use of the washing machine was a minor inconvenience, it didn't dampen our overall experience. We highly recommend The Old Flower Field for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in the South Downs. we had a fantastic stay and would love to return in the future!

The heating system was also excellent. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We appreciated the attention to detail, including the arrival package with essential items like bread, milk, and jam. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy city but still easily accessible by car. The property's close proximity to nearby attractions and villages made it a convenient choice for exploring the area.
The price for the washing machine and tumble dryer seemed a bit steep, although having these amenities on-site was definitely a plus. It would have been more convenient to have a dishwasher available, especially when staying for an extended period.

Stayed at Old Flower Field for the second time to visit family in Brighton. the location is quiet and away from the busy city, but still easily accessible by car. It's a short walk to Hurstpierpoint. the accommodation was spotless both times, even though we had a dog with us last year. the welcome food pack was very useful, especially since we had less space in the car. the owners provided toiletries and local information, making our stay even more enjoyable. a clean and comfortable place with great parking facilities. Cons: Nothing to be said. 😊.
