we had an excellent stay in hurstpierpoint adjacent to brighton itself, the south downs and hurstpierpoint. the accommodation included an electric kettle, a microwave oven, and central heating. having kitchen helped a lot.

The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming, even providing a thoughtful arrival package with essentials like bread, milk, and jam. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Despite heavy rainfall during our stay, the owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing bottled water when the mains supply was cut off. The concern and support they showed were truly remarkable. While the lack of a dishwasher and the limited use of the washing machine was a minor inconvenience, it didn't dampen our overall experience. We highly recommend The Old Flower Field for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in the South Downs. we had a fantastic stay and would love to return in the future!

Stayed at Old Flower Field for the second time to visit family in Brighton. the location is quiet and away from the busy city, but still easily accessible by car. It's a short walk to Hurstpierpoint. the accommodation was spotless both times, even though we had a dog with us last year. the welcome food pack was very useful, especially since we had less space in the car. the owners provided toiletries and local information, making our stay even more enjoyable. a clean and comfortable place with great parking facilities. Cons: Nothing to be said. 😊.
